TaeKwonDo and martial arts studied properly good for older boomers too

I have been studying under Master Edwards for over ten years now.  Began in my late 40s and still kicking.  My advice to us aging folk, especially those who have never studied martial arts but who would like to learn basic skills and get in shape, is to measure your progress as a mature adult rather than that of a 20 something!  Hard to do but push yourself according to how you feel and take off a bit when you need to...don't compare your fitness, flexibility, or athletic prowess to those 20 -…See More

Tournament at Springfield, MO

September 24, 2011 all day
Our next regional AMA tournament will be held in Springfield, MO.  Individual and team competition will begin at 9 am and end around 5 pm.  Remember, students must compete in four tournaments before reaching black belt.  They are that important!  Let's all go!!! Everyone can compete in the individuals and I am picking out red belt and above students who will be on our Impact Team for the 3 on 3 team competitions.  It's gonna be GREAT.  Next year we have a tournament in Scotland, let's get…See More
